Position Management

Notre Dame has made tremendous progress in our aspirations over the last decade.  Looking forward, we are committed to continuing to fulfill our mission by focusing on core priorities.  Total compensation is 60 percent of our overall costs and grows as a result of expanding headcount.  To manage compensation growth, the position management process is designed to enhance due diligence around increasing headcount by requiring Executive Officer approval for all new roles and requiring VP/Dean/Sr. Leader approval for new and existing roles.
